• Brief description

The Quality Specialist will be responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope and be responsible for all actions/responsibilities as described in company-controlled documentation. The Quality Specialist will lead and train Quality Technicians, ensuring they follow Linden’s policies and procedures and maintain the company’s high standard of quality. The Quality Specialist will contribute to and support the company’s quality initiatives by encouraging team and individual contributions toward the company’s quality improvement efforts.

Tasks

· Ensure the highest quality product is produced by continually striving to improve company and department SOPs.

 Lead and Train Quality Technicians  Ensure workloads and deadlines are met by the quality team

 Ensure sampling and testing goes out on time and results followed up

 Maintain strict sampling control:

o Sampling of all incoming raw materials.

o Verify the receipt of each C of A.

o Conduct physical testing of incoming raw materials.

o Verify lot numbers are concurrent with the drums/containers and the C of As.

o Work with other departments to rectify any discrepancies.

o Log, store, and maintain each retention sample.

 Ensure test results are distributed quickly to other departments as needed.

 Work within manufacturing operations to verify instrumentation, sanitation, and processes.

 Completed forms and documentation up to date from various departments

 Coordinates with various department personnel to improve process flow.

 Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including testing of incoming raw materials, intermediates, finished goods and general laboratory maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of experience
• Experience working with many types of files
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control Experience
• Knowledge of Qualcy
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and GLP.
• Thorough knowledge of various kinds of office software
• Proficient typing and editing skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail and quality oriented.
• Ability to take instructions and ask questions to understand the job assignment.
• Able to follow pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision, and make decisions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be able to read & understand written & verbal instructions in English.
• Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, twisting, climbing ladders and steps, kneeling and standing for long periods of time.
• Able to pass a physical examination, and background check, and comply with company drug policy.

Working conditions

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week, and on occasion willing to work overtime.
• May be noisy and have varying degrees of temperature.
• Must comply with Linden’s Good Manufacturing Practices & SOP’s

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
